Giving back is always in style

THE GIVING BACK CORNER

How It Works:

When we have items that have slight defects from the manufacturer, we round them up in a corner and sell them off for a fraction of the price. The customer buying them gets an amazing deal and they also feel great knowing that all of their money spent goes directly to one of the three charity’s. It’s a win/win for the consumer and the community.

"One thing that I’ve always loved about being a part of Stoney Creek Furniture is seeing how we always tried to support our local community. Dennis, our founder, always supported local sports teams and local charities such as Hamilton Foodshare and others. I have tried to continue on that tradition of giving back when asked. Whether helping support youth sports teams, donating furniture to assist local refugee families entering our community, or great events like the Winona Peach Festival, we’ve tried to do our part where we can. You have to give back to the community that supports your business."

"I’ve worked over 30 years for the SCF family and they have always been extremely generous to donate furniture to many charitable organizations. I realized that sometimes the size of furniture does not always fit into every home but money will go a long way. So the idea of the GIVING BACK CORNER was established. 100% off the sale is shared amongst three organizations where a monetary donation would benefit their cause in so many ways."

Coming Together As a Community

In partnership with a local community group we donated bedroom furniture to a family in need. We wished to offer our assistance in making their new home in Canada cozy and welcoming.
