OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS (the “Official Rules”)

#WIN WHAT YOU LOVE (the “Contest”) is an exclusive contest by Stoney Creek Furniture. The Contest is not sponsored by or associated with Facebook or Instagram.

By participating in this contest, the participant acknowledges that they consent to Stoney Creek Furniture’s collection, use, retention and disclosure of any personal information made available by the participant (including but not limited to names, social media accounts and photographs) for contest purposes only as described herein. This includes consent for Stoney Creek Furniture to share and/or publish any photos, comments, posts or other content uploaded by a participant in relation to this contest (including but not limited to the name of the winner and the winning entry) on any Stoney Creek Furniture public social media or website, in-store or in any public advertisement/promotional material (electronic or otherwise). The participant releases Stoney Creek Furniture from any liability whatsoever in this regard.

1. Contest Period: The Contest begins Thursday, September 15, 2016 10:01 AM Eastern Time and ends on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 5:00 PM Eastern Time (the “Contest Period”).

2. Prize: There is one (1) prize to be won: One gift certificate worth $2,500.00

3. Eligibility The Contest is open to all legal residents of Ontario who are eighteen (18) years or older at the time of entry (each a “Qualifier” and collectively, the “Qualifiers”), except for employees of the Sponsor, its affiliated companies or agents, its respective advertising or promotional agencies or the independent Contest organization, or a member of any such employee’s immediate family (regardless of where they live) or persons with whom they are domiciled (whether related to the employee or not). For the purpose of these Official Rules, “immediate family” includes the mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, partners or spouse of the employee. Inappropriate, unsuitable or offensive comments, replies, or photos that are deemed not in good taste will not be accepted at the sole discretion of the Sponsor and will be removed from the Social Pages. Comments/replies/photos that will not be accepted include those that are defamatory, trade libelous, pornographic or obscene and may not contain, depict, include, discuss or involve, without limitation, any of the following: nudity, drug consumption or smoking; explicit or graphic sexual activity or sexual innuendo; crude, vulgar or offensive language; any content that, Stoney Creek Furniture in its sole and arbitrary discretion, believes would violate intellectual property or other laws.

How To Enter:

1. Participants can enter the contest by taking a photo of their favourite furniture or design at one of the two Stoney Creek Furniture locations. Share photo(s) on Facebook and/or Instagram, tagging @StoneyCreekFurniture and using #winwhatyoulove. No purchase is necessary. Contest opens Thursday, September 15, 2016 10:01 AM Eastern Time and ends on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 5:00 PM Eastern Time (the “Contest Period”). Stoney Creek Furniture has the right to stop or cancel the promotion at any time.

NOTE: If it is discovered that any person has attempted to use multiple names and identities to enter the Contest; then (in the sole and absolutely discretion of the Sponsor) he/she may be disqualified from the Contest.

The “Sponsor” reserves the right to reject an entry, in its sole discretion, that may be deemed offensive, distasteful or inappropriate.

2. Drawing of the Prize(s): A random draw will be held on or around October 5, 2016 at Stoney Creek Furniture, 395 Lewis Road, Stoney Creek, Ontario. There is one (1) prize to be won: One gift certificate worth $2,500.00. Prize will be available for pick-up at Stoney Creek Furniture, 395 Lewis Road, Stoney Creek, ON.

3. Prize Claim Conditions: Odds of being selected as a potential winner will depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the “Contest Period”. Selected Qualifier(s) will be contacted via email or phone. Selected entries which are incomplete, illegible, mutilated, altered, reproduced, forged, irregular or fraudulent in any way or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules are automatically void and another entry will be randomly selected from all remaining eligible entries. If the selected Qualifier cannot be contacted within two (2) business days following the date that the Sponsor initially attempted to contact the selected Qualifier, another Qualifier will be randomly selected and the initial selected Qualifier will be disqualified and will have no recourse against the Sponsor or anyone else involved in the Contest. Each selected Qualifier must correctly answer a time-limited skill-testing question to be administered on the date that the Qualifier claims his/her prize. The selected Qualifier must provide proof of eligibility, if requested. If the selected Qualifier fails to satisfy the above criteria, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, select another Qualifier from the remaining eligible entries (who will be subject to disqualification in the same manner). The Winner will be announced once the terms and conditions set out in this Section 3 of these Official Rules have been satisfied.

4. General Rules

1. (a) All Prizes must be accepted as awarded and may not be substituted.
2. (b) It is the sole responsibility of the Qualifier to notify the Sponsor of any change in the Qualifier’s contact information.
3. (c) The Sponsor is not responsible for any printing, distribution or production errors and may terminate, amend or withdraw the Contest for any reason, without notice and without liability, at its sole discretion. In all instances, the Contest Sponsor shall have no obligation to distribute more Prizes than those indicated in these Official Rules.
4. (d) The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. If any provision of these Official Rules is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, then these Official Rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.
5. (e) The decisions of the Contest Sponsor with respect to any aspect of the Contest are final and binding on all Qualifiers without right of appeal, including, without limitation, any decisions regarding the eligibility/disqualification of any entries.
6. (f) The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, and without prior notice, to withdraw, cancel or amend the Contest in any way, and to adjust any of the dates and/or timeframes stipulated in these Official Rules, to the extent necessary, for purposes of verifying compliance of any Qualifier, or any other aspect of the Contest, or in light of any other circumstances which, in the opinion of the Sponsor, in its sole and absolute discretion, affect the proper administration of the Contest, or for any other reason.
7. (g) The personal information provided to enter the Contest will be used only to administer and promote the Contest, and for no other reason.
8. (h) In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these Official Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest-related materials, including, but not limited to: the registration form, and/or point of sale, television, print or online advertising; the terms and conditions of these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control.
